"One Truth, many paths" is the main thrust of Jerry's personal spirituality. It is a blend of many influences, from both the Eastern and Western traditions. In all things, she looks for ideas that cultivate unity, compassion, joy, and peace. Jerry is interested in attaining better understanding of the Divine. She believes the bumper sticker that states, "We are spiritual beings having a human experience."
An ordained minister, Jerry shares her spirituality with others. She guides them toward heightened understanding and enlightenment. She stresses the importance of moral action without selfish motivation, restraint, discipline of the mind and heart, compassion, peace, and oneness. This can take place in private counseling sessions at her Lafayette office or in yoga classes at the club. She also performs the Rites of Ministry, such as baptisms, weddings, and funerals.
